About This Project

The TBP UK Offshore Maritime, Energy and Data Centre ASMOFP™ Network is being developed as a connected offshore infrastructure system designed to strengthen the United Kingdom’s maritime logistics, energy security, digital resilience and access to global trade corridors.

The project proposes a network of modular TBP ASMOFP™ platforms positioned around strategic UK maritime zones, including the Atlantic approaches, Celtic Sea, English Channel and North Sea. These platforms could support offshore transhipment, renewable and transitional energy systems, floating data centres, strategic storage, maritime services and alternative routing capacity.

By connecting offshore infrastructure with UK ports, regional trade cities and SME participation, the network aims to extend the UK’s maritime reach beyond fixed port capacity and integrate regional economies into the wider TBP neutral trade ecosystem. It is also intended to support resilience, regional development, trade access and new infrastructure-led opportunities across the United Kingdom.
