About This Project

About This Project

The Continental Africa Trade & Energy Security and Reserve Framework is being developed as a shared sovereign resilience architecture for all 54 African countries, including landlocked states. It is designed to strengthen Africa’s control over the energy, trade routes, strategic commodities and essential supply systems required to sustain its economies during both normal market conditions and periods of global disruption.

At its centre is the TBP ASMOFP™ network, providing modular offshore infrastructure for energy production and storage, maritime transhipment, strategic reserves, logistics distribution and emergency supply support. The physical platform network would operate through the TBP NPNGS, providing neutral, protocol-governed access, routing, transparency and participation under African Union and Regional Economic Community custodianship.

The framework aims to reduce dependence on vulnerable external supply chains, support AfCFTA and regional industrialisation, and establish Africa as a coordinated provider of resilient energy, trade and maritime infrastructure rather than a passive recipient of global shocks.
